Greetings from Africa,

 I would like to share a little with you about my recent trip to the Congo. (DRC)

 The 11th of February, I flew to Congo for 16 Days.  I landed and stayed in Kinshasa for 3 days.  I was able to preach at Quartier Congo church.  Monday 14th , we  started a two day drive to Dibaya Lubwe (population of about 114 thousand), the future home for the Bible Institute.  We stayed in tents for the two week that we were there.

 There has been so much accomplished on the station.  A big portion of the property has been cleared, and two dorms and a depot have been built. The airstrip has been cleared, but there is still work to be done on it. In completion Dibaya will be accessed by road, river and air, thus making it to be a prime place to facilitate the men that will come to study from all parts of Congo.

 We don’t have a date for starting as yet, but are looking forward to the arrival of the Clancey family, who will live and work at the Bible Institute.  They are presently still on deputation and language study,  preparing to come out.

During the two weeks  there,  I had the privilege of  preaching two sessions each day.  I was able to spend time talking and sharing with pastors and deacons, many of whom travelled up to two weeks on foot to get to the seminar.  The first week we dealt with the character of the man of God, and the second week we dealt with leadership.

  Matters of  prayer:

 · We would like you to pray for these men that they would be encouraged in their “calling” as many minister and live in difficult circumstances surviving on the bare minimum. Pray for the provision of needed finances for the construction of dorms, housing for professors and administration buildings.

· April 15th-17th - Family seminar  in South Africa.

· June – We are planning a family ministry trip to Zimbabwe. Pray that the Lord will open the door for us to be able to make this trip.

· 11th—14th July – Know Your Bible Club (VBS in South  Africa).

· For  the Radio program to DRC.   Pray for the continued producing of messages, and that we would get feed- back on a regular basis.

· Wyla,  mental, spiritual and physical well being

· The family, that we will grow in spiritual knowledge, and wisdom and unity as we serve  the Lord where He has placed us.
