Dear family and Friends,
This letter should put us
on Schedule now, with our correspondence.
South
Africa ministry
We thank the Lord for the 5
who stepped forward in baptism this month.
They were all young people who have been saved and growing in the word.
It is so wonderful when you can offer the Lord a life that is closer to a
“full cup” than a “half a cup”.
Pray for these: Cherith our daughter,
Tandi, Lindelwa,
Matondi and Mercy.
On the week end of the 19
-22 March, our church (some young, some old) went together on mission’s trip to
Faith Baptist Church, Witbank- about 2 hours away.
The young people ran the youth program,
and on Saturday morning handed out tracts and flyers.
The afternoon was spent holding two different open air meetings in parks
with children. Saturday and Sunday evening they put on a Christian drama. This
was a great time for our folks as they learnt to minister and serve other fellow
believers and reach out.
On the Saturday afternoon
while Esther along with some of the youth were holding open air meetings with
the children they rallied together, I drove around to the different shopping
malls parking lots where many of the car attendants are Congolese. I had made
CD’s with songs and messages in Lingala from the radio program. I was able to
hand these out along with French New Testaments.
Armed with 40 New Testaments and 50 CD’s (O Ye of little faith) I had a
wonderful time witnessing to over 60 parking
attendants in spite of the
rain that came up. (I should have taken more materials).
We are planning to show the
drama “The Six Who Died” here at our church, on Friday night, April 2nd
and Sunday night, April 4th 2010.
Do pray that many new and unsaved will come out and be converted.
How you can pray:
·
For our young
people, that they will grow in God’s grace and they will stand strong in this
wicked world.
·
For fruit from
the missions trip, and opportunity to do it again.
·
For a vehicle for
church transport.
·
For our spiritual
fortitude as we work into these ministries.
·
Children
ministries.
·
For strong
marriages, and whole families in our church.
Family
This month Jordan cut his
ankle quite deeply on a piece of glass, praise the Lord that it seems to be
healing. We thank the Lord for
Cherith stepping forward in baptism.
She came to know the Lord as her saviour with Esther when she was 5 years
old. She is growing in the Lord,
reading His word and seeking ways to serve Him!
Pray for the rest of the family to grow in grace and in the knowledge of
our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
In Christ,
Robert, Esther, Joshua,
Cherith, Jordan, Jeremy, Chelsea, Chayle, Winnie and Wyla (Grandma Grings)
